The Laboral CinematecaFilm Classroom was set up with the aim of offering specific education in the art of cinematography, offering the Asturian educative community a comprehensive educational resource that will allow teachers to explain at the workshop, twenty basic and fundamental concepts of cinematographic language, illustrated with fragments of important films in the history of cinema and biofilmographies of their directors.
As cross-curricular content, the users of the platform will have with the opportunity to build a periodisation of the history of cinema and a basic categorisation of cinematic genres, as well as references to other films and filmmakers. The content for the Classroom has been purposely developed by Fernando de Felipe Allué and Joan Marimón Padrosa, two well-known specialists in teaching and film reviews who have a broad cinematographic experience.
The Film Classroom offers a workshop in Spanish, Asturian, English and French with the aim of broadening its scope of educational use to different subjects in the current study plans.
